There will be many world-class speakers and CEO’s and senior executives attending and spreading their message on shaping management for the future. Two days of management enlightenment and participation to spread the effectiveness of management globally.

Are we at the dawn of a new management paradigm? Continuing to focus only on shareholder value and short-term financial results will not be adequate to tackle the huge challenges of the future. Neither will quixotic fights against the momentum of governance systems nor romantic do-gooder approaches. What we need is for managers to build on the fundamental strengths of capitalism – with its unmatched ability to generate wealth. Can management combine the creation of economic value with social value?
The 3rd Global Peter Drucker Forum in Vienna on November 3 and 4, 2011 will provide the platform for a dialogue about “what needs to be done” in this regard and “how to get there.” Concrete cases and initiatives will be presented and discussed.
The Forum will consist of major thematic sessions followed by a call to action, all linked by the common thread of building a new legitimacy for management.
